It is ESSENTIAL my dears to protect our skin from UV rays. There are 2 types of UV Rays that we need to be aware of.
To put simply:
- UVA Rays penetrate the skin deeply and accelerates skin ageing, increases sebum secretion and hyperpigmentation. These harmful rays are present even if it’s a cloudy day.
- UVB Rays stimulate tanning and mainly responsible for sunburn.
Having understood this, it is therefore important to find a sunscreen that protects you from both – at least, that’s my criteria!
My favourite (and currently using) is the UV PRO SECURE SPF50 PA+++ PORCELAIN by VICHY.
Why I use it:
- Well-balanced anti UVA+UVB filtering system
- Has Vitamin E (helps to slow down the ageing process)
- Comes in a porcelain version (tinted) which helps to even out skin tones
- Paraben, oil and fragrance-free
- Doesn’t clog my pores and is penetrates fast to a matt finish
- Great as a makeup base!
P.s.: In case you want to know, it’s about $48 for a 30ml tube.
P.p.s: Here’s a recommendation by MFP Editors! A Light Yet Highly Protective Sunscreen
