This is the last of the 3 treatments that I’m trying and reviewing for Adonis. From the refreshing Sparkling Peel Facial, to the rejevenating Chakra 7 Haven Holistic Therapy and now, we’re on to the last facial treatment called AD Facial.
Sidetrack: I recently also posted on my service experience at Adonis outlet at Lucky Plaza.
How odd a name (AD Facial), I asked my facial therapist, Jas. She explained that this is one of Adonis’s signature treatment and AD actually refers to Adonis.
It’s great treatment for 保养 and suitable for people with clogged pores and dehydrated skin. And besides since I just did the Sparkling Peel Facial, my skin was peeling slightly and this hydrating AD Facial will help to thoroughly cleanse and hydrate to the max!
***Going Through The Process***
Just like how the Sparkling Peel Facial went, Adonis’s treatments always start with deep deep cleansing procedures like removal of makeup, wash, applying Comedone (to soften the blackheads) with cold mist, and then Lumidone (to extract the blackheads from pores). With Lumidone, no painful extraction process required! :)
They just apply the Lumidone, cover with tissue, wait for it to dry and then peel it off! So simple!
After deep cleansing, it’s time for the bow wow she-bang treatments! First I got an eye treatment that had a hot device going round and round my eyes, to help in increasing blood circulation around my eyes (reduce eye bags, thank you!!). And then, came cold compress which is a very comfortable and cooling cream that is applied on my face. This helps in stablising the skin condition after the cleansing process, soothes and has lifting effects. A facial massage then follows to help in detox and increased blood circulation.
Finally, the two last treatments in this 1.5 hour relaxing facial is the Ginseng Mask and the Hot Eye Mask. Check out how…. alien-like I look!
I LOVE the smell of Ginseng on my face. They applied such a luxuriously thick layer that made my face look so huge here! Wahahaha! Very high hydrating properties and has whitening effects too!
And the hot eye mask is simply an indulgence. Helps in blood circulation!
In the midst of all that, my therapist wasted no time at all. She gave me a hand + forearm massage and a superb back massage…. wah… I’m so lucky *sobs*… I could get used to this! LOL!
