Shu Uemura launched their new skincare product – The Tsuya Skin Youthful Radiance Generator yesterday!
Shu Uemura – You’d think of their makeup and their lashies but one doesn’t really link the luxury brand with skincare. I’m really excited to try their much-raved new serum.

TSUYA skin = Japan’s word for ideal skin. And ideal skin is defined within 6 key parameters as seen below. After a 4 week trial by 52 Asian Women using the Tsuya Skin Youthful Radiance Generator, this is what they say:
The Breakthrough Technology Behind
In every product, it pays to know what makes it great. Young skin cells have many active receptors on its individual cells that help to ensure optimal self-generation and metabolism. But as we age, the number of cell receptors “switch off” and the power to regenerate declines leading to dull, rough and tired skin.
The Shu Uemura research center in Tokyo found a way to “switch on” this process again by using a “Rhamnose” receptor that remains stable despite the aging process. Rhamnose is a miracle molecule continues to transmit vital signals to skin cells, effectively reactivating skin’s “youth power switch.”
Rhamnose was inspired by the “secret” of the Enju flower, known for its longevity and powerful life force.
According to the tests done, results have been clinically proven to cause:
1) A thickening of the epidermis.
2) Improved levels of Collagen
Cell regeneration is thus ensured and significant improvement in all fundamental skin layers is observed.
I will be trying out the new serum starting today and we’ll see how it goes in 7 days! :D

My major skin concern is acne & blemishes. My dream is to have a flawless skin. Every girls want to have a flawless skin. I’ve been fighting against acne and blemishes for years. I have serious dry skin but oily at the T-zone. It’s pretty difficult to find products that can help to solve my ‘dryness’. It had caused my skin to be rough and dull with enlarge pores. :-(

Because I have a combination skin type, oily t zone and dry cheeks, it is very hard to have a product that could fix the dullness of my skin without having oiler t zone or drier skin.
