Have you heard of Amethystory? They are the latest range of skin care line by Ginvera. It contains a mineral called Amethyst, hence the name! But did you know something about Amethyst?

Let’s review the products under this brand!
1) Amethystory Bubble Face Wash 160ml, $14.90.
There are quite a few bubble face wash products in the market. By bubble face wash, I mean when you pump the bottle, what comes out is a foamy formula which glides on your face easily and makes washing your face a joy.
I tried this product and the good thing is, this washes my face very well. My face feels REALLY clean and smooth after every wash. It also has a very pleasant smell.
The downside of this is that if I don’t put toner and moisturise like 10 mins after I wash, my face will start to feel kind of tight and dry.
2) Amethystory Mineral Aqua Gel (STAR PRODUCT) 150ml, $24.90.
This is usable anywhere on your body. Reminds me of the CURE Natural Aqua Gel product that my sister has in her toilet. The Amethystory Minderal Aqua Gel helps to remove cornified dead skin and gives you a new & more radiant skin after regular usage.
When I pump it out, whitish translucent liquid comes out. You rub it onto your face/body parts (dry) and massage in circles. You’ll notice that white flakes will appear which are supposedly the dead skin cells. I’m not altogether sure that all of that is dead skin, probably a percentage of it is.
I love the fact that I can use this on any body part. I can’t wait to try it on my knees, elbows and shins where most of my dead skin cells reside! The downside of this product is, when I tried it on my face, it felt like I needed to pump quite a fair bit in order to get the white flakes appearing.
3) Amethystory Mineral Whitening Enhancer, 150ml, $19.90.
Besides the 3 core ingredients (amethyst, hyaluronic acid and bio energy fluid) that all Ameythystory products have, this whitening enhancer has another key ingredient called Tranexamic Acid which helps to lighten and even out your complexion.
It also helps to boost hydration, whitening and penetration of skincare products. Meaning, it is effective to apply other skincare products after using this one.
Love love love the smell. And my skin does feel quite hydrated after use. The brightening effect, as with as all products, is likely a result of regular use over a period of time as I did not experience this after using it for 1 week. The texture is a little weird. It’s sticky even after I’ve applied it fully on my face! But all in all, I like this product quite a fair bit. Love the hydrated feeling after using. :)
