With every participant that signs up for Pantene’s 14-day Flag Off Challenge, 14 litres of clean drinking water – the equivalent of a week’s worth of clean drinking water for one person – will be donated to communities in need, helping women and their families break out of the cycle of ill-health and poverty. So yay! I am helping some people in return!
So yeh, this blog post will document my 14 day experience. First off, let’s introduce the product that I am using:
I am given 4 products from the Pantene Smooth & Silky Range because I suffer from extreme frizz, out of control and unruly hair. The 4 products are:
- Pantene Smooth & Silky Shampoo
- Pantene Smooth & Silky Conditioner
- Pantene Smooth & Silky Rinse-Off Treatment
- Pantene Smooth & Silky Intensive Treatment (Super ♥♥♥♥♥♥ this!!)
Containing an improved formulation and featuring a brand new look, each daily deep treatment product contains the powerful Pantene Recharging Fluid Pro-V Formula exclusive to Pantene, and is powered by conditioning ingredients that work within the overall formula to address the toughest hair issues – split ends, hair fall due to easy breakage and rough tangled hair.
DAY ONE
My hair is dry, and I have heaps of split ends. Needless to say, it was course and difficult to comb through. Started using Pantene and noticed that the conditioner has made washing my hair a lot easier since it calms my hair and detangles it enough for me to comb my fingers through my wet hair.
At the moment, my favourite has to be the cute Pantene Smooth & Silky Rinse-Off Treatment. Cute because it looks like this when I squirt it out of the bottle!
Hair’s still course after drying up but hey, it’s only day one so far.
DAY SEVEN
Halfway through the 14 days challenge now. Used the Pantene Smooth & Silky Intensive Treatment – loved the instant softness experienced when my hair is dry.

Hair seems to be dependent on Pantene now to be smooth. Tried to use another shampoo halfway but my hair frizzed up right away and I had to switch back immeditely to Pantene.
Hair smells REALLY good after wash. My problem of going to bed and waking up crazy tangled and dry hair still persists but I note that it’s getting better and easier to comb.
At the moment, I’m loving the Pantene Smooth & Silky Intensive Treatment & Pantene Smooth & Silky Rinse-Off Treatment for their instant visible effects.
DAY FOURTEEN
The final day has come. I have completed my 14-day Flag Off Challenge to Hair Health.
My hair is rid of crazy, rough tangles that give me my many split ends. I wake up with softer hair (though it’s still not ideally soft as yet) and less tangles. My hair is instantly softer and smooth when I use Pantene range of conditioners. I think you should try both the Pantene Smooth & Silky Intensive Treatment and Pantene Smooth & Silky Rinse-Off Treatment as they are both pretty good! :)
To be honest, it does feel like the effects if Pantene is evident only if I keep using Pantene. So I’m not so sure yet of it’s long term benefits to my hair. But I’ll know in time!
