Bobbi Brown’s Spring/Summer seasons comes to Singapore soon! I got to preveiw a few items in their launch recently and boy, am I glad to share them with you here! Here’s a natural look I created! :)
Creamy Matte Lip Colour
The Creamy Matte Lip Colour combines the look of a classic matte lip with incredible wearability.
I got the True Pink (cos I prefer natural looking makeup) and it was creamy and very moisturising. The colour is great – only a little needed for a good coat of colour and it glides on comfortably. And it lasts really long too! :) I don’t know about you but I want more than one colour!! :) This True Pink suits my tanned skin (surprisingly) and it’s very natural looking.
What to look out for: In June 2013, Bobbi Brown will be launching their new range of Sheer Lip Colours at S$36!
Blush
I’ve never really tried Bobbi Brown’s cosmetics but if this Blush were the first product I tried, I would have been sold. I LOVE THIS BLUSH. The colour is really pigmented. Only a little goes a long way. I got the Nectar (11). Loving this! All those korean brand cosmetics that I have been using for blushers all this while does not even come close! :)
What to look out for: In March 2013, Bobbi Brown will be launching their new range of Blush Shades (S$42) with a limited edition shade of Pastel Pink!
Eye Shadow
This silky, matte powder shadow goes on smoothly & blends easily. The densely pigmented formula can be layered and comes in a range of beautiful shades for defining lids and lining eyes. I got mine in Slate 16 & Bone 2.
I find that the colour goes on my eyes better when I use my fingers to blend instead of a brush. Bone 2 is an off white shade and is very very natural looking on my eyelid. Bobbi Brown created this colour so that you may shade your eyelids to make it look evened out before piling on more colours.
What to look out for: In March 2013, Bobbi Brown will be launching two new collections!
Lilac Rose Collection – Bobbi Brown’s take on Spring Florals.
Do keep a lookout for the Limited Edition Lilac Rose Eye Palette (S$99), the Shimmer Brick (S$70), new shades of Lip Gloss (S$36), Sparkly Eye Shadows (S$45), Blush (S$42) and Nail Polish (S$29)!
Pink & Red Collection – an unconventional approach to the season’s traditional colour palette! If anyone could match pink and red together and make it work, it’s Bobbi Brown. I love the new shades, it’s very modern! I <3 this collection! Can’t wait to try this out.
Keep a lookout for their limited edition new shades of Sheer Colour Cheek Tint (S$39), Creamy Matt Lip Colour ($36), Sheer Lip Gloss (S$36), Nail Polish (S$29).
Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner
This award-winning liner gives you the look of liquid liner with the ease & feel of a gel formula. Long-wearing, water-resistant color glides on & let’s you get it just right before it dries – then stays without a smear or crease. Won Big-Day Beauty Awards ‘Martha Stewart Weddings’ (May 2012) & ‘Best of Beauty’ by ‘Allure’ Magazine (2012).
I love how easy this is to apply with a brush but do note to be quick when applying as it’s pretty good at staying on once it’s dry. :) Remove with a good makeup remover (I use Loreal) and be patient as it may take a little while to come off. Love the staying power, no smudge too! Caviar Ink is a great shade to have for us asians cos it’s less harsh than the Black Ink. :)
Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick
This is gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! I tried it at the launch event, and it refused to come out properly with water & vigourously rubbing! Check out the swatches. I can’t wait for this to be launch. It’s TUG-FREE and glides on easily. Bobbi Brown promises no creasing, flaking or fading for 8 hours. If so, this totally becomes an essential! Comes in 8 eye-popping shades, available from March 2013, S$45.
