A new Korean brand of skincare products has launched in Singapore. Available at bud Cosmetics, ISOI (I’m SO intelligent), is a brand that puts heavy emphasis on the high quality ingredients used in it’s products. They are well known for its efficacy without the use of harmful chemicals.
One of the KEY ingredient that exists in all their products is the highly-precious prime grade Bulgarian Rose Oil.
Bulgarian Rose Oil has different grades and they only use the top-rated one. It is obtained from fresh roses at KAzanlak valley (in Bulgaria of course) and harvested every May and June when it’s freshness and fragrance are the greatest in the year.
Imagine, only 1 ml of oil can be extracted from 3,000 bunches. Gosh! Speak of precious! The benefits are aplenty too. The prime grade Bulgarian Rose Oil that is used in ISOI products are

The Pore Tightening Fresh Gel Cream (50ml, $99) is from ISOI’s Pore Tightening range and it helps to moisturise skin and controls excessive sebum.
The texture is watery and gel-like, perfect for oily-combination skin like mine. It smells ridiculously good and of Bulgarian Roses.
I love how non-sticky and light this is. I apply this in the mornings and it keeps my skin moisturised all morning without it being oily.
To be honest, this is a little bit pricey. You don’t have to use too much of it each time though. A little bit like a 5 cent coin size would do. Too good to resist!
Another best seller I have is from the Blemish Care range. Another water-gel based product (can I just say how much I LOVE water-gel based products?!), the Bulgarian Rose Blemish Care Serum (35ml, $92) helps to prevent and treat blemished skin.
It contains the Bulgarian Rose Oil which helps to promote moisture, clarity and whitening properties in the skin. It also contains Asiatic pennywort extract which enhances our skin’s recovery and calms active blemishes.
And to be honest, my favourite product has to be the Bulgarian Rose Intensive Sugar Scrub (50ml, $62), even though I only tried a few times from the sample I got. Like all the other products, this also smells luxuriously of roses. The little scrub beads are very fine and doesn’t feel too harsh on my face.
After a long day out with heavy makeup, this is such a comfort to come home to. The scent is soothing and the scrub really gets my pores all clean. My face feels very smooth after this scrub. :) This can be used all over your lips (adds elasticity!) and face (helping with hydration, shine and regeneration). I am so tempted to go out and buy the full sized product!
