Movie: Mural

So what movie’s latest to hit the mini shores of Singapore?

• First film to create a complete Eastern fantasy world
• Chinese “Lord of the Rings”
• Promote using an ensemble approach, not just limiting to the main cast
• Advanced CGI (computer-generated imagery) used to create the fantasy world
• From the same supernatural series 《聊斋志异》 and director as previously successful PAINTED SKIN 画皮 (2008)

All of the above, from this new, highly anticipated chinese movie called MURAL《画壁》(A Gordan Chan film starring Sun Li & Deng Chao) launching 13 Oct.

This period fantasy, action and romance film tells of three men who chance upon an enchanted world through a temple mural, and believe it to be paradise until the darker and uglier side of that world emerges. This is a story of love, vengefulness, and sacrifice.

It’s a very cute action, fantasy, romance movie about three men who enter a fantasy world that prohibits falling in love. And man this show is FULL of pretty ladies!!

Definitely a must-watch! I am not a fan of fantasy movies such as these plus it’s so “chinese” themed. So this really surprised me. :D
