I knew it wasn't an exaggeration!

See! Malaysian Taxis ARE the WORST in this region!

I knew the frustration (that I feel every time I try to get a cab at the Malaysian Customs on Friday nights) that leads to fury is quite the same for most everyone. Basket.
What would cost on the meter from the Malaysian Customs to my home is like RM5-6,they charge me RM10 because its past 10 and got midnight charge. Since when 10-11pm got midnight charge? Wah seh… FWAOR ah!
The cabs are without air con, the seats are FILTY, the driver is sometimes SMELLY, and yes, and they like overcharge you for that.
After the petrol price hike, even better. They anyhow add RM1 to my “already-overcharged-cab fare”. *sigh*
And they know I’m a local because I know the fare. Imagine how much more they would charge a tourist! Visit Malaysia… HAH!
Those standing right outside the customs are even worst. So irritating. “Senai Senai? Xiao Jie Qu Na Li.”
Even as I grumble about the bad, unethical services these unkempt and (often) shady looking drivers dish out, I fear more for my safety. With the incredible number of crime in JB, and many of which are about women being robbed, raped and murdered by taxi drivers is appalling.
Rob never mind leh. Somemore rape!! *GASP!* Old lady also don’t let off those kind of despo sickos. Rape already somemore murder. Sigh…
Here’s a real scare! Of FATAL (er, like literally) Air-Purifiers. Gives a new meaning to new technology huh~
And hey, who says the authorities are not doing anything? For all the nasty things that the Malaysian Cabs are well known for, the authorities are cracking on *pause* their ATTIRE last year. Aye, never mind that they overcharge their passengers. Let’s priorities their “ATTIRE” (which apparently lends to a professional image, until they open their mouths and windows) over everything else because it will “HELP” them serve the public better! Sheesh. Gosh the article is hilarious.

Hey there, thanks for the link. :)

Well, I am not too sure about the air purifier case as described in the email forwards.

To date, I think I have not seen any horror local newspaper report about air purifiers in taxis etc.

Anyway, it does not hurt to be extra careful, right? :D

    Cheers. :)

I’m not sure if u’ve been to china or not..i think u probably have.

Coz nothing can beat the china taxi system. Not only they’re running 24 hours on meter, but they have a long set of rules that controls the behaviour n etiquette of taxi drivers!

That pretty much works to our advantage hahaha..
