First up, we have the Basil Leaf Chicken (S$11.50). Singaporeans LOVE this. I never really paid attention to this dish much until after a couple of Singaporean friends of mine kept ordering this when we were in Bangkok on several occasions! So I started to try this and really liked the version done at E-Sarn. I love that it’s spicy and has great flavour.

Green Curry with Chicken (S$13.50). The chicken was a little overcooked. :(

The gravy was nice without too much coconut milk which can make this a very heavy dish. Although not the best I’ve ever tried, this was still decent a dish to order.

You must try the Vegetable Omelette (seen below S$10.50) which is served with sambal belachan. I hesitated much about ordering this dish cos firstly, it’s fried = possibly oily and it’s only normal vegatables! In fact, I don’t know what vegetables! But I read the reviews online and everybody keeps recommending this so I decided to order one.

Don’t underestimate it. It was VERY crispy and the portions were generous! :D

Seafood tom yam soup (S$9.50) was nice and spicy – worth coming back for and definitely a crowd favourite here!

Just when you think this crazy 2 person meal is done, well not really. We had some room for dessert and we ordered my favourite Steamed Tapioca (S$4.00)! Check it out below. It was served warm and I thoroughky enjoyed this dish even though I as super damn full already by this point.

Now, would I go back to Esarn again? Yes. Definitely. There are so many other dishes which I haven’t tried. The whole meal costs the two of us a total of $65.90 which included drinks and rice.

Read other reviews on Esarn here on hungrygowhere. E-Sarn also has a website here. They have several outlets but the one I went to is at Pasir Panjang MRT. For enquiries, please call them at 6473 3716. Address: 130 Pasir Panjang Rd  Singapore 118548 (nearest MRT: Pasir Panjang Circle Line)
