I have always heard of people talking about dry shampoos (especially when you can’t wash hair right after giving birth) and how cool it is.
Me? I love the good ol’ ways of a big foam up and then a lot of water thereafter.
Marc Anthony recently sent me their 2nd Day Clear Dry Shampoo to try out and I was definitely interested.
What: 2nd Day Clear Dry Shampoo
About: When there isn’t enough time to shampoo, this residue-free 2nd Day Clear Dry Shampoo lets you instantly cleanse your hair without the wash while absorbing excess oil and adding volume to flat, lifeless second day hair.
How to use: Cleanse and add volume in minutes without the wash! Lightly spray 2nd Day Clear Dry Shampoo on dry hair, concentrating on the roots area to absorb excess oil and add lift. Let dry for one minute. Brush through to finish your style or, for a more natural finish, give your hair a gentle tousle. Style as usual.
I say: To be honest, if I haven’t been sent this product, I would never have bought it. But now that I know about it, and have tried it, I can’t believe I didn’t try it out sooner! This is like the ultimate time-saver! Plus my hair takes foreverrr to dry! Also great for use after gym!
What’s great about it:
❦ No white residue
(I read online that some dry shampoos leave a white residue after combing which really, defeats the purpose of “washing” your hair)
❦ Revitalises oily, limp hair
My hair usually goes really oily and limp if I don’t wash it. That and the itchiness that follows is what makes me wash every day. The great thing is, after a couple of spritz of this dry shampoo near my roots, my hair is light and airy again.
❦ Love that it’s in a spray form.
So easy to just spritz without getting my hands involved.
The not so good:
❦ The fragrance is a little too strong for me.
❦ I sprayed this on my entire head the first time I used it and my ends all frizzed up! Be sure to only use it at your roots area!
