Cute Doesn’t Even Begin To Describe These Baby Photos!

Omigawd this just in! Photos from a recent newborn photography shoot taken of Nathen at 1 month old. I was browsing Taobao casually when I saw heaps of newborn photography props and I was so tempted to cart it all and then attempt to DIY my own shoot at home. Thank god I didn’t because what will I do with all those crazy props after the shoot and where will I find time to do the shoot la.

I may be on maternity leave but I never seem to find time to do anything still :(

Then I saw Ashley Low Photography on Facebook and saw the newborn photography shots that she takes of babies and I was very much in love with it! Check out some of her work:

Here’s sharing our experience at her studio and the photos!

#1: We love the huge inventory of props!

Her newborn photography shoots are usually conducted at her studio because that’s where the HUGE INVENTORY of photo props are stored at. For baby hats/caps alone, she has like over 50?! I was just admiring at all the props she has! Such possibilities it presents!! Every shoot can be different!

#2: We love how relaxed the shoot was!

I literally just showed up, passed the baby to her and sat back at the sofa to relax. My 2 year old was kept happily occupied with all the toys in the studio, and I made myself a cup of hot drink from her pantry. NICE. She even provided Merries diapers and a comfortable area for diaper change.

#3: Ashley was very good with a crying Nathen

Better than us in fact :/. Nathen doesn’t usually like sleeping much during the day but she is definitely very experienced at handling babies. The air con was strategically positioned so that the baby won’t feel cold, she played a combination of waves and breathing sounds to soothe the baby, and even how they handled the baby all played a significant part in achieving the poses in all the shots.

Prior to the newborn photography shoot, she asked if there was a preference for what we’d like. I just told her I wanted something vibrant and to also include in a family shot. And she delivered. :) Check it out.

She was very well-prepared, and had the shots she wanted to do for me all planned ahead already. When we arrived, she showed it to us and then the shoot started. The backdrops and props were all set aside in order of usage. She also managed to coax my older one to smile and cooperate. Check out some of our family shots.

We are super pleased with all the shots. The photos are beautifully edited, and I’m happy to show them to everyone! The team at Ashley Low Photography (website) did a superb job.
