Constipation During Pregnancy

Alot of women experience constipation during pregnancy. I tried a lot of ways to help alleviate this but I didn’t find anything that really helped until recently! :) Here’s are some tips that may help you alleviate constipation during pregnancy!

See I tried:

  • Eating more than 1 fresh fruit a day
  • Eating a lot of fresh vegetables
  • Drinking a lot of water (water & pure fruit juice)
  • Drinking a whole glass of red dragonfruit juice & eating the fruit itself (this used to help me with constipation prior to pregnancy)

It came to a point where I wasn’t even sure what could help my bowel movements anymore. :(

But then one day, don’t know why I did what I did but I bought some GOLD KIWI. Just because I love gold kiwi. I don’t usually buy it often even though it’s always available at the supermarket because I dread using a spoon to scoop it out to eat. I really much prefer the pampered way of having it skinned and served. Haha!

So the urge to eat gold kiwi was greater than how much I hated the way to eat it, so I decided to buy it.

DID YOU KNOW:

A two-piece serving of kiwifruit has twice the vitamin C of an orange, as much potassium as a banana and as much fiber as a serving of bran flakes – less than 100 calories. Kiwifruit is also a good source of magnesium, is sodium free and a low-fat source of vitamin E.

Yeh, it’s pretty damn awesome.

I’ve been eating one gold kiwi once every morning and I’ve been going to the toilet once a day. And my stool is no longer hard! :) What a great relief! Do try eating gold kiwi if you experience constipation during pregnancy like me! :)
